Dr. Bill Sukala is a clinical exercise physiologist with a career that has spanned over two decades in health and fitness, cardiac rehabilitation, and clinical research. He holds a PhD with a research focus on type 2 diabetes and obesity, a masters degree in exercise physiology, and a bachelors degree in nutrition. Aside from his hands-on clinical work, he has consulted to major industry organization such as Weight Watchers International, American Council on Exercise, Australian Institute of Fitness, and Skills Active New Zealand. Bill has delivered invited lectures across five continents on health and medical exercise topics, been interviewed on major television networks in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Mexico, and continues to author articles in major consumer health magazines, trade publications, and medical journals. In 2011, he was named Australian Fitness Author of the Year by the Australian Fitness Network.
